CURRENT ASSETS FINANCING OF TRADING COMPANIES IN UKRAINE
Background. Relation between equity and debt capital has the influence on the financial stability and profitability of the company. Lack of resources of financing current assets can lead to the outage and reduction in activity. Therefore, the investigation of resources of financing current assets at trade enterprise is the urgent problem nowadays.
The aim of the article is to determine the current state of the resources of financing current assets at trade enterprise.
Materials and methods. The article used a combination of methods and approaches that allow to implement system-conceptual integrity of the study: statistical, analysis and synthesis, comparison and generalization, induction and deduction.
Results. At the beginning of the investigated period the companies used a little bit of constant capital but at the end of the period Ukrainian trade enterprises use only short-term borrowing costs for financing current assets. The main role of financing current assets at enterprises of trade in Ukraine is accounts payable and short-term bank loans. Accounts payable has the stable growth; its specific weight increased in the investigated period. The short-term bank loans also have the positive dynamic in its volume but the specific weight declined in the end of 2015. Accounts payable is one of the cheapest resources as the cost of it is included in the goods value.
Conclusion. Nowadays trading companies use short-term loans for financing their current assets and the constant capital has the negative value that means that companies use an aggressive approach. Low financial results do not allow to use own capital. The main role in financing belongs to accounts payable and short-term bank loans. We offer to determine all available resources that are available for the company with taking into consideration their financial state.
