The aim of the article is to determine the theoretical principles of conscious development of education in the context of socio-cultural transformations of modern society and development prospects of individual coverage in the space of power relations.
Material and methods. The study provides an understanding of education as a space for the development of essential powers of the individual. Accordingly, the paper uses theoretical achievements of the representatives of active approach to becoming human.
Results. Education remains spontaneous process, within which the organization is based on the needs of external authorities. Intentional or not, the idea of "substrate", the inertia in the case is transferred and indirectly involved in it individuals. Thus, the main business of educational institutions is violence and power. The way in which new content is introduced is designed to asymmetric "subject-object" relationship. Universality and accountability form the educational process are achieved at the cost of individual.
Conclusion. Thus, it may be noted that the loss of self-education sources will lead to the fact that it will remain authority of power and violence.
