The theoretical mechanism of economic system structure development is analyzed; its principal subsystems and elements are determined; the algorithm of their research is offered. The construction, the main contradiction, and the functions of the mechanism of the Ukraine’s economy structure development are characterized. Objectives, factors and objective laws of structural changes are defined.
