We considered the results of various scientific approaches to formation of professional motivation inprofessional developmentoffuture professionals in the sphere
of trade.Basic preconditions forprofessional personality development and factors of forming motivational readiness for future professional activity have beendetermined.We found outdeterminants of conscious profession choice as a condition for effective adaptation in the process of professional development.
