COMPETITIVENESS IN THE SYSTEM OF ENTERPRISE’S ECONOMIC POTENTIAL

Background. The problem of competitiveness management as a basis for the formation and economic growth plays an important role in the economic development strategy of Ukraine. Determining factors of competitiveness and the system to ensure is essential for the maintenance of certain market segments and efficient operation of enterprises in general.
Analysis of the scientific research in this area indicates that scientists still discuss the precise definition of structural elements and procedures for the diagnosis of competitiveness. Analysis of the economic potential is currently reduced to reviewing its competitiveness.
The aim of the article is to determine the nature of the competitiveness of trade enterprises and improving methods of evaluation to justify the optimal solutions.
Materials and methods. The basis of this paper is a synthesis of the research results of domestic and foreign scholars on the concepts of competitiveness and economic potential of the enterprise, and assessment methods of each of them. The study was conducted using the methods of theoretical generalization, analysis and synthesis.
Results. It was established that the subsystem elements and a mechanism to ensure competitiveness is the object of evaluation and management decisions to use competitive advantages. The algorithm for making strategic decisions. Systematized and presented signs of competitive strengths and weaknesses of the company. An algorithm for evaluating competitiveness. Methods to evaluate competitive advantage were defined.
Conclusion. The effectiveness of the management process is determined by the assessment accurateness of the impact object basic state and identifying factors that influence its development. The lack of in usual theory that explains competitiveness and organizes factors that determine its level hampers the development directions of improvement of organizational and economic management mechanism.
